Tight Cornering

Barnard Castle is known for its Ginnels, the narrow pathways between houses from the cobbled market to surrounding streets.  At the end of such a Ginnel, where Queen Street meets Birch Road, for the thin pavement scaffolding was tied in to the wall and tucked safely away from vehicles cutting the tight corner.
